Hey lovelies! This is just my own take on the trending chocolate dream cake! I wanted to make an easy chocolate dream cake so I changed the usual chocolate layers in the popular dream cakes and added my favorite chocolate cake, chocolate mousse cake and chocolate glaze recipe. I hope you'll give it a try :)
For those asking how much you can sell these, I didn't do the math 😅 I cook/bake for fun and I just enjoy sharing my recipes here. Costing will also differ on the quality of ingredients you choose to use and not to mention prices of ingredient go up and down depending on season and product demand.

CHOCOLATE CAKE
57 g (1/3 cup) Bitter-sweet Chocolate (get it here: https://shp.ee/jt3fc9z)
55 g (1/4 cup) Unsalted Butter
118 ml (1/2 cup) Water, hot
1 Egg, large
100 g (1/2 cup) Sugar
5 ml (1 tsp) Vanilla Extract (get it here: https://shp.ee/wajwk7s)
142 g (1 1/4 cup) Flour
4 g (1 tsp) Baking Powder
4.5 g (3/4 tsp) Baking Soda
2 g (1/4 tsp) Salt
118 ml (1/2 cup) Brewed Coffee, strong
Cake Tin: 6" x 2" (get it here: https://shp.ee/g3mtzkk)
*Bake at 160°C (320°F) for 25 - 30 minutes
*Please note that I only scooped 1/2 cup from the batter because this recipe is easier to make using it's full measurements. You can make roughly about 3 (6" x 2") chocolate cake using this batter. Or you may also bake the remaining chocolate batter and freeze the cake for later use.
SIMPLE SYRUP
100 g (1/2 cup) Sugar
118 ml (1/2 cup) Water
CHOCOLATE MOUSSE
20 ml (4 tsp) Water, cold
4 g (1 tsp) Gelatin Powder (get it here: https://shp.ee/ii3v53k)
160 g (2/3 cup) Whipping Cream, chilled
150 g (1 cup) Semi-sweet Chocolate (get it here: https://shp.ee/jt3fc9z)
118 ml (1/2 cup) Whipping Cream
CHOCOLATE GLAZE
4 g (1 tsp) Gelatin Powder (get it here: https://shp.ee/ii3v53k)
30 ml (2 tbsp) Water, cold
100 g (1/2) Sugar
59 ml (1/4 cup) Water
59 ml (1/4 cup) Whipping Cream
25 g (1/4 cup) Cocoa Powder, Dutch processed
*microwave for 30 seconds, not 30mins as stated in the video. my bad 😥
