Описание: Welcome to a new year.... always exciting in farming. Everything is ahead. A hard frost allows us to start to terminate our cover crops which have been protecting the soil in the winter ready to cultivate and plant our spring crops. John calls in the RSPB to try and get his childhood sparrow noise back on the farm. We plant a new little wood with the village to enjoy together for years to come and Dom runs his first Sourdough Workshop of the year using wheat we grew and milled here on the farm. This year in the monthly farm diary we are going to do regular updates on the crops and rotation, so this January John explains the principals.
