How do you teach a girl to trust her instincts, express herself and protect herself in a society that values politeness and submission in women so highly?
Trevor Mimano grew up close to one of Nairobi's most dangerous slums. Now at 31, he fights for a living and is passionate about keeping his predominantly female family safe. In this talk, he teaches women how not to die.
Having worked with elite teams in military and law enforcement for decades, he knows why and how women are routinely preyed upon and how we can feel and be safer.
