For my interpretation of this song (because it's completely abstract in terms of meaning) this feels more like escapism and denying your true sense of self. The alien in question would be your real "identity" which society itself perceives to be "weird" or out of the norms. At the end of song you reject the offer of being your true self out of fear of being ostracized in our modern era.

It feels bittersweet yet at the same time the weirdness of it all and the fantasy we imagine of running far far away from this world is beautiful. Sometimes escapism isn't too bad every now and then.

Or it could just be a song of an alien wanting to abduct you to their UFO :)
