For scuba dive contact a local operator either by ypur self or thorugh your resort and book 1 day prior to avoid any delay of diving.Because they have limited slots per day and if booking exceeds then they will cancel your diving.

Havelock island is best place for scuba diving in India due to its diverse coral and marine life and its a lifetime experience .So do not miss it.If you are scared then yo can try the shore diving .The duration and depth of this shore diving is less.They will give proper instruction for the same.Only thing is if you are not well or having some medication then you need to disclose that before diving.Accordingly dive master will decide.
If you are still scared then I would suggest you to go for sea walk.Its easy and you do not have to do anything other than enjoy.Best place for sea walk is elephant beach.If you want to do sea walk at elephnat beach then you need to decide early as the boat which takes you to elephant beach will give you some limited amount of time at the beach and then they will return.Sea walk takes time as there might be many people who will be lined up on a busy and peak hours.
Snorkelling is also recomended if you can not do sea walk or scuba dive which is very easy.Go for the extra paid version so that they will show you coral and fishes.
Now coming back to sunrise and sunset , for sunrise you can go to kalapathar beach or if your stay is on the same coast line like ours then you can enjoy the sunrise from your stay's beach.For sunset you should go to Radhanagar beach .Do not miss sunrise and sunset while at havelock island as it is one of the best.
