CIT's NOT Showing in Minecraft 1.20 + ??😱 | How To | Minecraft Tutorial | CIT Resource Packs

Are you struggling to get your CIT packs working with the new Minecraft versions? This quick vid covers downloading two mods to use in place of Optifine, as for some reason, it doesn't always seem to work with CIT's in 1.20 +

❗ Please ensure your CIT's are already loaded into your 'resource packs' folder as I don't cover this!! ❗

If you'd rather a quick written guide, please refer to the below:

📖 Make sure your Minecraft game and launcher are closed

📖 Follow the two links above for CIT Resewn and Indium, and download them both. You'll need to go to the 'file' tab, and find the download to match your game version. You can also click on the 'filter by' option to find your version

📖 Once both have successfully downloaded, close down the browser and open your 'downloads folder'

📖 Move both downloads to your desktop, or cut/copy them from the downloads folder

📖 Navigate to where your .minecraft folder is, and drop it in the 'mods' folder. The file path for most users will be (replace 'maddi' with your windows name) :

C:\Users\maddi\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\mods

Although I keep my 1.20.1 version in:

C:\Users\maddi\AppData\Roaming\1.20.1\.minecraft\mods

so I can keep my 1.19.2 version as well

✋If you don't have a 'mods' folder, create one without quotation marks, and all lower case, like below:

mods

📖 Once both mods have been added to the 'mods' folder, you can re-open your game and try to use your CIT's again.
