In this video I walk through how to leverage Copilot within Excel to combine two data sources.
Data can exist in multiple places and if you can't find a way to tie them all together, it really limits your level of analysis. In this example, I get Copilot to write out a custom formula that allows me to analyze data that spans multiple tabs of an Excel spread sheet.
Copilot helped me create an XLOOKUP function to tie my data sources together in this example but it can be leveraged to help you write much more complex formulas.
I also talked a bit about prompt engineering in this tutorial and started out with a vague request to copilot to showcase how important it is for you to be very specific and give context when you are working with AI.
