We rescued a bird, which my other cat etty caught and injured.
Alaska our 16month maine coon cat warmed to the bird. In the beginning Alaska just wanted to play with the bird. After letting him know he wasn't a toy or food, he was happy to just sit with the bird and let him sleep next to him like seen in the video. We only let them spend time together supervised, the bird loved cuddling up to alaska and us humans too, probably due to his poor health.
Unfortunately the bird did not survive and died in the morning.
