Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the etrailer four-leaf double eye spring for 5,000 pound trailer axles. Now, this leaf spring will act as part of your trailer's suspension system. It provides the attachment point for your trailer's axle. And this spring uses multiple leaves, which allow flexibility to absorb any road shock.

Allows for a nice, smooth ride. Reduces wear and tear on your trailer. And it'll ensure level ride on bumpy and uneven surfaces. This is a sturdy steel construction. If you notice on each eye end, they do have the nylon bushings, which are preinstalled.

The diameter with the bushing installed is 9/16 of an inch. Now. they use pre-mounted hangers or aftermarket hanger kit is required for installation of this spring. We do sell those separately on our website. And this spring does attach to the hanger that's mounted on your trailer frame at one end and the other end connects to the shackle straps suspended from your hanger or equalizer.

This is for a quantity of one spring. The number of leaves again on this one is four. Spring capacity is 2,500 pounds. So, the axle capacity this will work on is 5,000 pound axle. Couple measurements I wanna give you is the length, which will be measured from center of one eye to the center of the other.

So, if we get our tape measure and we go right on there is 25 1/4 inches. The width on this spring is 1 3/4 inches. One note I do wanna mention, to ensure proper axle alignment and suspension performance, leaf springs should always be replaced in pairs and we do recommend installation by a professional.
