In this INDEP online event former co-host of the General Intellect Unit podcast Kyle Thompson will give a retrospective on the podcast, which ran from late 2017 to spring 2024. It was described as “the podcast of the cybernetic marxists” and explored issues regarding technology, marxist politics and economic planning and managed to build a solid community in a time when these topics were just beginning to be be discussed in leftist circles. He will also reflect on the role of podcasts in the planning-ecosystem and their potential to bring isolated people together.
