In 2013 I travelled to Tinos island for a day to do some photography and to visit the famous landmark of the famous church. Panagia Evangelistria.

The complex is based on a miraculous icon which, according to legend, was unearthed after the Virgin Mary appeared to the nun Pelagia and gave her the location of the icon's burial site.
