Hiking to a waterfall in the jungle🌿

Описание: Near our wild camp at Lagoa do Peri, we stumbled upon a hiking trail by chance. We did not know where it lead and after a long scramble through the jungle, crossing creeks and climbing over rocks, we were surprised by beautiful little waterfalls 😊

We took a swim in the basin to cool off and wash off the sweat from the humid rainforest air.

The hike was incredibly beautiful, the tree branches were lined with epiphytic plants, many of which in bloom, the diversity of the flora was just stunning! The fauna was diverse as well, we saw monkeys, snakes, various birds and insects and often many blue morpho butterflies ('emperor butterflies') were fluttering all around us 🥰
