Welcome to the CEYLONA Girl Guides International Camp 2024! This monumental event, organized by the Sri Lanka Girl Guides Association (SLGGA), brings together Girl Guides from around the world to celebrate over 107 years of leadership, friendship, and global community.

Held at Ibbagamuwa Central College in Kurunagala from August 18 to 23, 2024, CEYLONA 2024 is more than just a camp—it's a journey of discovery, empowerment, and cultural exchange. With the theme of Explore – Discover – Connect, CEYLONA 2024 offers a holistic experience combining adventure, cultural immersion, and skill-building. From 18th to 23rd August, the Sri Lanka Girl Guides (Official) Association (#SLGGA) held their international camp #Ceylona2024, in Kurunegala. A global adventure filled with learning, fun, and unforgettable experiences!

2,000 #GirlGuides from across all nine provinces of Sri Lanka took part, alongside 200 amazing adult volunteer leaders. The camp was a truly international gathering with 500 participants also coming from nine other countries to join in the fun #Bangladesh, #Cambodia, #India, #Maldives, #Malaysia, #Oman, #Pakistan, #Singapore, and #SouthAfrica.

The camp also welcomed 3,000 younger girls from #SLGGA as day pass visitors - giving them a taste of the opportunities to come as they get older, as well as several members of the #WAGGGS Asia Pacific Regional Committee.

The #WAGGGS village provided activities from some of our #GlobalProgrammes on #STEM, #OnlineSafety, #SelfEsteem, #Nutrition, #Climate, #GenderBasedViolence and many more!
