New Bedford family asking why driver charged in deadly crash released on bail

Описание: Andrew Johansen, the man accused of hitting and killing a 70-year-old woman on a New Bedford sidewalk in February, appeared in New Bedford District Court Friday.

The 34-year-old Dartmouth man is charged with motor vehicle homicide and negligence.

Prosecutors alleged Johansen was drunk.
