"Shuddering at Hardline" - on Phoenix X Eeyore's "Total Revolution? An Outsider History of Hardline"

Описание: Hardline was a micro-subculture within the 1990s DIY hardcore scene. It was militantly, and sometimes violently, straight-edge, vegan, animal liberationist, and radical environmentalist—but also anti-abortion and homophobic. Phoenix X Eeyore's 2021 book "Total Revolution? An Outsider History of Hardline" chronicles this movement, and this video is a reading of my Patreon post (which is open access) highlighting the most interesting things I learned from the book.

Note: I misspoke about the 1991 gathering; it was in Memphis, not Minneapolis
