Описание: Locating a lost film always begins and ends with a mystery. Any empty box or lab canister may hold the sole surviving film element for a piece of cinema which has never been seen. After its discovery, the next mystery is always, "now what do we do with it?" For the inaugural release from the REVIVER imprint, we bring to you something that ONLY Vinegar Syndrome can – a new sublabel focused completely on material selected from the incredible catalog of films which we’ve unearthed since VinSyn shook up the world of physical media restoration and releasing.

Each REVIVER release will be presented just as we found it: unlabelled, nondescript, and within replica artwork of the original container it was stored in up until acquisition by the Vinegar Syndrome Film Archive. Each numbered release is presented as an archival glimpse into our film collection, which comprises 40,000 reels (and counting) of rare and unique materials in archival conditions. As the first label of its kind, focused solely on preservation of lost films, all revenue after manufacturing from REVIVER releases will go directly towards the film archive.
