Riyadh celebrated the 93rd Saudi National Day with a display of culture and unity on Saturday.

Festivities filled the streets as traditional dances and music took centre stage.

In the city's main square, a traditional dance performance showed off the nation's heritage.

Renowned Saudi singer Majed Al-Bakhit, reflecting on the day's events, said every part of Saudi Arabia offered "unique" celebrations.

Adorned in traditional attire, the crowd added to the festive spirit.

Majed Al-Bakhit's performance, accompanied by timeless Saudi lyrics, resonated with the audience.

Saudi citizen Abdullah Ali expressed gratitude, saying the celebration marked 93 years of "security and prosperity".

"We owe our happiness to our kings, past and present," he added.

Even the cityscape joined in the celebrations, with buildings aglow in green, symbolising the national colours.

The night ended with a drone and fireworks display.
