I'm a tech recruiter with 10yrs experience and I'll show you how to make the most of NotebookLM's features.

Firstly, provide it with as many relevant sources of information as possible.

Things like:

✨ Link to the job you're applying for
✨ Link to the company website
✨ Recent blogs, news articles
✨ Company videos from YouTube

Now use the following prompts:

"You are an interviewer at [Company Name], ask me some interview questions based off the information in my CV and the role responsibilities".

"How does my experience in [Your Skill] align with the requirements for this role?"

"Generate an interview document to help me prepare. Include how my experience aligns to this role, key areas for me to consider and potential questions for me to ask the interviewer".

You can even use it to generate a short podcast that you can listen to whilst walking the dog, cooking dinner or commuting. You can change the length of the podcast and specify which topics you'd like the hosts to cover. Just hit the 'Customise' button. The results are uncanny - you really need to try this feature.

Use NotebookLM to identify areas where your knowledge or preparation might be weak, and then use it to bridge those gaps.
