Join Caitlin, a student in teaching of Spanish, as she interviews Anna Torres-Cacoullos, a professor in the Department of Spanish. Professor Torres-Cacoullos is also an affiliate with the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies and with the European Union Center.
When asked what advice she would give to her 18 year-old self, Professor Torres-Cacoullos tells Caitlin “I’d have to say taking risks and becoming more comfortable with being uncomfortable. I think all of us today having followed a pandemic, going through different sort of experiences, becoming more okay with being in uncomfortable situations and taking risks is important. It’s important in our growth as mature individuals who are learning how to cope and adapt to our environments” (5:04).
