Indian cricketer Mohammad Shami is once again in the news for his personal life. His former wife Hasin Jahan has approached the Supreme Court seeking an increase in the maintenance amount.
Wife of Shami has requested the Supreme Court to raise the amount to ₹10 lakh per month, stating that Shami earns in crores through BCCI central contract, IPL, and various brand endorsements.

This case goes back to 2018, when Haseen Jahan accused Mohammad Shami of domestic violence, adultery, and even match-fixing, leading to an FIR under IPC 498A and a plea under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act.
