Coonoor - Kodaikanal Ooty Drive - Glendale Estate & Dolphin's Nose - Tamil Nadu - Travel Vlog (#9)

Описание: In this video we cover our trip from Kodaikanal to Ooty. During the course of this journey we also explore the hill station of Coonoor.

We started this trip shortly after having our complimentary breakfast at Ecstasy, the restaurant housed within The Carnival Hotel. The journey down the Palani Ghat Road in this crisp morning air is refreshing. As we were driving down this road we came across the Palar Dam.

As we kept on moving ahead we spotted some wind turbines, indicative of the fact that we had reached Coimbatore. We stopped here for our lunch at the Kadarkarai Family Restaurant before continuing ahead.

The climb for Ooty starts just as we crossed Mettupalayam. During this segment of the journey we came across the Laws Falls and the Kallar Bridge.

Upon reaching Coonoor, we took a right turn towards the Dolphin's Nose. On our way we saw the Glendale Tea Estate as well as the Lady Canning's Seat. Approaching Dolphin's Nose our attention went towards Catherine Falls. Dolphin's Nose offers an uninterrupted view of the valley below. While we were returning back to Coonoor we stopped at the Lamb's Rock.

It was already dark when we started our final ascent towards Ooty and reached there shortly. For our stay here we booked our cottages at Wenlock Homes, which offered amazing views of the Doddabetta Peak.
