Tapo Security Cameras Tapo C110, C120 and C425

Описание: These Tapo Security Cameras from TP-Link are SIMPLY AMAZING. I’m going to quickly show you what I use them for, why I like them so much, and the value for money you get with these very affordable security cameras.

Let’s go over what I have in my house, and if you need them their are links to all the things mentioned in the video description.

I have a selection of these cameras around the house, from the basic Tapo C110 and C120 that use Wifi with wired power, to the more expensive battery powered models like the Tapo C425.

I use the Tapo C110 wired wifi cameras for baby monitors in the kids rooms and the play room because these are powered by a plug with a DC jack. These are light weight, easy to stick to a wall, very affordable and just work.

I use the Tapo C120 wifi security cameras for outside as these are USB-C powered and are IP66 rated. These have a better night vision mode and can be magnet mounted. Slightly more expensive but still really great value for money.

And the Tapo C425 is my battery powered security camera that I use the in the garden. This detects and records when motion is detect in the preselected zones and works superbly! Works over wifi but a Wifi extender really improves monitoring on your phone. It stays asleep but alert and wakes fully when something is detected. The battery lasts for months, not days!

These cameras stream to your phone over Wifi via the Tapo app and also record events or continuously using the local MicroSD card you put into the cameras.

Local recording without limits and subscription is one of the main benefits for this camera system, and it works flawlessly and it’s really responsive.

The hardware is great, but the software that powers them is even better.

The Tapo app is snappy, very easy to use and you can monitor your cameras when home or away.

Every setting you could wish to change is in the app, from when to record, to what to record. You can tag moving objects, detect people, pets and vehicles, playback stored videos in a really quick to use timeline, and so much more. There is also cool features like instant notifications, smart actions, and even a direct stream that other computers or tools can access on the network.

I’m more than impressed with everything this really affordable system has to offer, and it even replaced my complex and expensive NAS setup with IP cameras.
