Heat frames are precisely machined aluminum or copper solid blocks that coincide with a specific style of a printed circuit board for ruggedized applications. When combined with thermal-interface material or “gap pads,” conduction-cooled heat frames increase a board’s operating temperature range, as well as its resistance to shock and vibration.
When integrated with wedgelocks and ejectors, heat frames allow industry specific boards to fit within conduction cooled chassis slots with zero insertion force. Wakeifled Vette's heat frames can be designed in compliance with any industry or application specification..
