Hi and welcome todays POV cycle tour along the Taramakau River to Kumara section of the West Coast Wilderness Trail on the Wild West coast of New Zealand's South Island.
This section of the Wilderness Trail leaves the coastline and heads inland through the beautiful native forest along the historic Kumara Tramline formation through to the historic gold mining town of Kumara where we explore the back streets before heading back onto the trail and head back to the coastline where this video will finish.
The West Coast Wilderness Trail runs from Greymouth the largest town on the west coast south to the historic settlement of Ross this trail can be completed from either end.
