I first tried this marinaded pumpkin about 16 years ago the first time I traveled out to where our home is now (herein Latvia) and met my now inlaws. Up until this time, I'd only cut faces into a pumpkin and am ashamed to say I'd never tasted it but after eating this my mind was blown and regard to this wonderful crop totally changed.
Recipe
1 Pumpkin
8 tbsp Sugar
1.5 tbsp Citric acid
Pinch of cloves
Boil until soft
