《Das Boot Season 1》
The submarine base in Wilhelmshaven was shrouded in the dawn mist. A cold sea breeze, carrying the salty smell of the ocean, lapped against the black steel behemoth at the dock—a Type VIIC submarine, U-96, lying silently in its berth like a lurking deep-sea monster. The periscope, anti-aircraft guns, and snorkel on the deck were faintly visible in the mist, and the rust-resistant paint on the hull gleamed coldly in the dim morning light, ready to embark on yet another raiding mission into the North Atlantic.

La base submarina de Wilhelmshaven estaba envuelta en la niebla del amanecer. Una fría brisa marina, con el aroma salado del océano, acariciaba el coloso de acero negro en el muelle: un submarino Tipo VIIC, el U-96, que yacía silencioso en su atracadero como un monstruo acechante de las profundidades marinas. El periscopio, los cañones antiaéreos y el esnórquel en cubierta eran apenas visibles en la niebla, y la pintura resistente a la oxidación del casco brillaba fríamente en la tenue luz de la mañana, lista para embarcarse en otra misión de incursión en el Atlántico Norte.
