This national Genomics Lunch & Learn session on 2 March 2026 focussed on Familial Pneumothorax - Genomic Insights for Clinical Practice.
The session featured case studies, how to recognise, manage and follow up people with this condition and how the rare disease collaborative network can be utilised to help identify and follow up family members with this rare condition.
The session was delivered by Kate Parrot, Consultant Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Respiratory, Lincolnshire Community Hospitals NHS Trust, and Stefan Marciniak, Professor of Respiratory Science at the University of Cambridge and Honorary Consultant in the Department of Respiratory Medicine at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Trust.
