Rabid (2019) - Horror Movie Recap

Описание: In this horror movie recap we're looking at the 2019 remake of David Cronenberg's Rabid. The first and only remake of one of Cronenberg's films, this project was taken on by the Soska sisters (directors of American Mary). Rose is involved in an accident that horribly disfigures her face, and qualifies her for a free stem-cell treatment from a facility looking for patients to help test their new technologies.

The treatment works, repairing her face and body fully, but also imbuing her with additional mutations and an insatiable hunger for human blood. In her pursuit of satiation, she spreads a mutated form of rabies that turns into a city-wide pandemic. Can Rose build her career and a successful love life in the midst of a quarantine and debilitating illness? Let's find out....
