As we reach the close of another meaningful year, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to every student, coach, board member, and Rice partner who has contributed to the Doerr Institute’s mission. Your commitment to growing as leaders—and supporting the growth of others—continues to inspire our work. This year, we witnessed countless moments of courage, curiosity, and determination as students stepped into new roles, coaches guided transformative conversations, and partners across campus helped create environments where leadership can flourish. Together, you’ve shaped a community grounded in purpose and driven by impact.
As we look ahead to 2026, I am energized by the possibilities that lie before us. The world needs leaders who can think critically, lead with integrity, and engage with empathy—and I am confident that the Doerr community will continue to meet that call.
