When you start dating someone new, it can take some time before their real nature comes out. It is why it is crucial to court for some time so that before marriage, you can know what you are getting yourself. Though some attributes may take time to be apparent, some reveal themselves as early as during the first day. All you need to do is know what to look out for to unveil these red flags sooner than later.
1. They are late.
Lateness during a first date speaks more than we think it does. It is rather simple. When a woman is genuinely interested, being late for a first date is the last thing she will do. It will only happen because of some unavoidable circumstances. However, if a girl shows up for a date late and does not seem apologetic for it or shows no signs of remorse, then that is a red flag that you should not ignore at any cost — being late shows that she couldn’t care any less and that she is not interested at all.
2. They expect too much too soon.
When you are on a first date with a lady, and in the course of your interaction, things turn to sex too fast, then you should be wary. There are times where are obvious exceptions to this like where you are purely looking for a hookup, and you had informed your date prior. However, if your date immediately starts marking sexual advances or starts being too touchy than you would prefer during a first date, then that is something that should alert you. It is a sign that you will struggle with boundary issues in future. When this happens, let your date that you are not ready to discuss sex yet.
3. They are too pushy.
If your date is being pushy about having you invite them to your place for having spent time with you or them insisting on asking you to their home too soon, then that is a red flag you should look out. During the first date, no one should be too willing to take the other. When a girl makes it too easy for you to take her home, you should think twice.
