CHANEL FASHIONPHILE UNBOXING - CLASSIC MEDIUM DOUBLE FLAP!

Описание: This video is all about the purchase of my first classic Chanel! I have a GST in bright red with silver hardware but I had always wanted a classic double flap and never thought I'd be able to afford it. With that in mind, I found a great vintage alternative to a brand new one on Fashionphile - a site I have used often and always trusted.

The bag is 20 years old - from 1999. It is brown with gold hardware and a brown leather interior. It's also lambskin.

So, all things considered - the bag was in fantastic condition. It was rated "very good" on the site but as bag lovers know, we are picky and need even a fair condition bag to meet certain standards. This one met all of the standards!

But I realized in person it wasn't all I needed it to be for my style. I don't wear much that would great with a traditional-looking, very vintage bag. It was also much smaller in person than I mentally prepared for and it felt so delicate. Like I needed to handle it with kid gloves and like the leather was going to chip off at any moment.

Because of these issues, I returned the bag. I feel sad looking at this video now knowing I no longer own the bag but for the price - it just HAD to go back if I didn't totally love it. Chanel is really something. It's the most expensive brand (outside of Hermes, etc.) and you're not getting a knockout design for the money most times. You're paying for the name, the status, the quality - but not necessarily for the artistic greatness. Just my opinion!

I ended up buying ANOTHER Chanel bag from Fashionphile a couple days later and just received it last night! There will be another video coming on that one soon!
