Michael Mwang'ombe scientist and Project Coordinator for Watamu Marine Association's Marine Mammal Research and Conservation Program, since 2014 has a wealth of advice and information to share with other up and coming young scientists around the world. The challenges he faces, will be met by others in the years to come, and his journey and experiences shared will hopefully smooth the path for would be researchers. The struggle is real and accompany the highs, and while many might regard his as a career on the on the ocean as a "lucky opportunity" afforded to only a few, Mike shows us that hard work and vision is something we are all capable of.
