Mercury-A is a whole new bow archetype the High-Impact Longbow. It deals more damage per shot than the other legendary bow archetypes but with a longer draw. More importantly though it has some incredible perks which make it play very different from other bows. Like the multimach it rolls with both attrition orbs and kinetic tremors. While enhanced bows only require 2 shots to proc attrition orbs and only 5 hits to generate an orb, these two are again working hand in hand perfectly to giga buff the Mercury.
Not to mention set effects such as Bushido and Techsec we're basically made for this.
