Perched high above the Gheralta Mountains in northern Ethiopia, Abuna Yemata Guh is a 5th-century church carved directly into the rock face. To reach it, you have to free-climb sheer sandstone cliffs with no ropes.
Definitely one of the most surreal and adrenaline-filled climbs of my life.
