Hello everyone! 2021 may just be the WORST time to go to a coding bootcamp. This was a very hard video to make because I want you all to pursue what you want to within your career. However, I want to make sure I am always being as transparent as possible. As you may know, I attended a coding bootcamp just a few months ago and there of course were pros and cons to it. Because of this, I decided to share some reasons why you shouldn't go to a coding bootcamp.

The topics I share within this video are things you may not hear from other people because they don't want to deter you from this decision. To be clear, the last thing I want to do is deter you from being a software engineer! There are so many great benefits to the career switch such as pay, mobility, etc. However, like everything, there are drawbacks to it. Specifically, there are drawbacks to pursuing this career via coding bootcamp specific to 2021 that were not there before.

In a few days, I'll be sharing reasons TO go to a coding bootcamp in 2021 because of course, like everything, coding bootcamp has both pros and cons and so I want to provide you all with the full picture!
