Reindustrialization is vital for Europe’s economic sovereignty and competitiveness after decades of decline. It seeks to reduce strategic dependencies, foster green and digital transitions, and strengthen resilience. Key challenges include high reshoring costs, energy prices, skills shortages, and global competition. While EU policies and innovation offer opportunities, bureaucratic and market barriers remain significant.
The speakers include András László, President of the Patriots for Europe Foundation, MEP for Fidesz KDNP, Julie Rechagneux, MEP for the Rassemblement National in the Patriots for Europe Group, Susanna Ceccardi, MEP for Lega and member of the PfE Foundation's board, and Balázs Dobos, Director of Innovation and Sustainable Development at Szazadveg.
