So this is the brand new OnePlus Open, and I think we finally found the best design for a folding phone. Samsung’s Z-Fold feels like a tv remote (or clicker), and the Pixel Fold is awesome but doesn’t open flat. And then there is this, the OnePlus Open. It is like a regular phone when it is closed, and a thin and flat tablet when it’s open. It also happens to be lighter than the iPhone 14 pro max, rated for 1 million folds (more than double the industry average), it has some incredible software optimizations, and some really stacked specs we will get in to.
