"Taiwan is holding midterm elections on November 26. This could mean new mayors and local magistrates across the country. The KMT is hoping to win two additional cities. We examine the far-reaching impact of this local election on Taiwan’s foreign policy and how the results could determine who and which party would likely capture the presidency in 2024.
