In Episode 2 of One on 1 we spent time at the National Basketball Performance centre (NBPC) in Belle Vue Manchester UK with Georgia Jones of the Manchester Mystics.
Her Journey is Inspiring and motivational to any kid wanting to play the game but also to Women players at all levels. The youngest of 3 siblings in the Jones family she tells us about her early beginnings playing against brothers Callum and James, who also became pro Basketball Players, under the watchful eye of her Dad, British Basketball Legend Jeff Jones and Mum Freda, the oracle of Manchester Hoops!
She went on to have a successful career in the US playing at Oral Roberts University then onto playing in Europe and in the WBBL. She has represented GB and England over 50 times and was a key part of the Silver Medal winning team in Australia at the Commonwealth games last year.
