We are thrilled to share the remarkable success of our recent hands-on training session on Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity (ORAC) at FRIM. This exclusive training brought together talented researchers from the Natural Products Division, demonstrating their dedication to advancing scientific knowledge in antioxidants. ORAC Assay in FRIM, accredited with ISO 17025, highlighting their commitment to maintaining the highest quality and precision in antioxidant research, setting an exemplary benchmark for the industry.

The ORAC assay training session was conducted by our expert trainer, Shalini Markandan, who possesses extensive knowledge and experience in the field of natural product antioxidants. The training provided them with valuable insights into the practical applications of ORAC methodology and its significance in evaluating antioxidant capacities using their owned BMG LABTECH’s high end multi-mode microplate readers Clariostar Plus and FLUOstar Omega. It's worth mentioning that FRIM has been using BMG LABTECH microplate readers for antioxidant testing and industry technical services since 2011.
