Playing a guitar driven and hazy style of dream-pop, Skin Mag is a multimedia project comprised of singer/guitarist Shane Barton, drummer Devin Stewart, bassist/visual artist Davis Stewart, and multi instrumentalists Noah Kurtz and Jack Nugent.

The band saw success with their first independant, two-track release ‘Singles,’ and received positive reviews and a sizable following.

With the release of their debut EP ‘Mourning Sickness,’ on March 8th, 2019 Skin Mag will solidify themselves as one of the finest up and coming bands in the greater LA area. The title describes contagious mourning and the tendency for people to embellish the depth of their relationship with the deceased in pursuit of the social ladder. The EP encapsulates feelings of paranoia, and biting disaffection with the ins and outs of our day and age. All songs were written and produced by the band from start to finish, and reflect the unadulterated intention that was put into them.
