In this video I finally reveal the KX85 dirt bike project I’ve been working on… and it went completely left.
What I thought was a simple locked-up bike turned into a full teardown after I discovered the piston was blown to pieces — some in the exhaust and some inside the engine casing. The bike only had a little water in it, which I believe caused it to seize and fail the way it did.
I even tried swapping on a KX65 kickstarter before tearing it down, but once the motor was opened up, the damage told the real story.
