In this video, I take a look at Greater Anglia's brand new Class 745 FLIRT Intercity fully-electric trains manufactured by Stadler in Bussnang, Switzerland.
These units entered service in early 2020 and they primarily operate on the London Liverpool Street to Norwich route. They are nothing like other intercity trains operated by different companies in the UK and they feel very European, as they are similar to trains found across rail networks in countries like Germany and Austria. And they are truly awesome!
