Das Fingerspiel hat seinen festen Platz zur Osterzeit in Waldorfkindergärten.

Klein Häschen wollt spazieren geh'n, spazieren ganz allein.
Da hat's das Bächlein nicht geseh'n und 'plumps' fiel es hinein.

Das Bächlein floß dem Tale zu, dort wo die Mühle steht.
Und wo sich ohne Rast und Ruh das große Mühlrad dreht.

Ganz langsam drehte sich das Rad, drauf sprang der kleine Has'.
Und als er endlich oben war, sprang er hinab ins Gras.

Klein Häschen lief nach Haus geschwind, vorbei war die Gefahr.
Die Mutter klopft das Fell ihm aus, bis es ganz trocken war.

Little bunny wanted to go for a walk, a walk all alone.
But he didn't see the brook and 'plops' he fell in.

The stream flowed into the valley, where the mill stands.
And where the great mill wheel turns without rest or rest.

Very slowly the wheel turned and the little rabbit jumped on it.
And when he was finally at the top, he jumped down into the grass.

Little bunny ran home quickly, the danger was over.
His mother patted out his fur until it was completely dry.
