The UDA Knows More Than They’re Saying (ICARUS Ep. 4)

In Episode 4 of Icarus: Prometheus, we’re tasked with tracking down another base tied to the thief. The job starts with a series of scans meant to triangulate the location — but each scan stirs up increasingly dangerous wildlife, and it quickly becomes clear we aren’t prepared for what’s being awakened.

We abandon the mission to regroup, only to discover our other option revolves around cooking and farming, something we’re even less ready for. With no real choice, we return to the scans after restocking ammo and leveling up our Ubis mount, Kel’Dun.

Fighting through wave after wave, we complete all three scans and narrow in on the target. Deep in the foggy marshlands, the base is almost invisible until we look up and find it built high in the trees.

We recover the data, raid the outpost, and transmit the information to finish the mission but, something feels off. Sol has gone quiet, and when he does reach out, it’s through back channels. He sounds different. Like he knows exactly who we’re chasing, and the UDA knows it too.

Welcome to Prometheus, a region of Icarus where the terraforming process failed and left the raw alien landscape and life intact but not unaltered.
Previously this heavily-restricted zone was declared too dangerous for prospecting. Bound by a gag order from Group 15, the UDA has refused to reveal any details about the zone's status or history. Until now.
