This shows how I sailed single-handed from Whitehills to Inverness (about 70 nautical miles).
I used a solar powered electric motor to help when the wind was light and made the whole journey in a day.
Just before entering the Moray Firth I had a pod of bottle-nose dolphins swimming around the boat and slightly further out I saw the tail of a whale (probably a Minke whale).
