Chorus-y Flanger: Elastic Mattress / EHX DEM / Ibanez FL-99/ H9

Описание: A friend lent me his PastFX Elastic Mattress that I wanted to try out.
Once I realised that this pedal sounds more like a chorus than a flanger, I tried to imitate that sound with other pedals. In its own way it remains unique, because it's brighter even with the tone at minimum, cuts more bass, and remains the most... chorus-y of them all.
With extreme settings I find it the most difficult to dial and least musical results, or maybe I'm just used to my classic flangers.
I must confess that I've not been able to do the opposite:
there's no way to make the Mattress sound like the other flangers. To me the sweep "closure" is always missing, I hear the rise and fall of the wave but I miss the sound of the... U-turn. I know this explanation is a bit crazy, but I don't know how to describe it. It's evident in the part where I listen to the noise floor, at 00:33
