The Golden State Warriors hosted the New Orleans Pelicans for the 5th game of the second round series, leading 3 games to 1. The Warriors managed a few good runs in the first half to take 5 point leads, but the Pelicans closed the gap, and even took a small lead right before halftime. However, in the third quarter, the Warriors went on a huge run and built up a 26 point lead. The Pelicans slowly cut that down to just 7 points with a couple of minutes left in the game, but that was as close as they would get. The Warriors advanced to the Western Conference Finals, 113-104.
Draymond Green had 9 assists, Stephen Curry 8, Kevin Durant 7, Andre Iguodala 5, Klay Thompson 3, Shaun Livingston, David West and Quinn Cook had 1 each. The Warriors had 35 assists in total.
