Описание: Hop aboard the Reading & Northern Railroad's Steam Autumn Leaf Excursion from Port Clinton to Jim Thorpe through the scenic Little Schuylkill Valley. On this day, the Reading & Northern's blue G-1 class 4-6-2 #425 was assisted by an SD40-2 to haul the long and heavy train. The diesel was definitely needed as the 425 had trouble keeping a grip on the wet rails that morning. The view is from car 509, a former Delaware Lackawanna & Western EMU that operated out of Hoboken from the 1920s into the 1980s. 509 was at the very front of the train outbound to Jim Thorpe but was far back in the consist on the return, as the train was rearranged but not turned.
