Описание: Anthony Moorman, PhD, Newcastle University, Newcastle, UK, outlines an analysis of the UKALL14 study (NCT01085617) that investigated the prognostic impact of chromosomal abnormalities and copy number alterations among adults aged 25–65 with B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) at BSH 2020. The study detected new primary chromosomal abnormalities, including ABL-class fusions, JAK-STAT abnormalities and ZNF384 fusions, but found no significant association between outcome and known secondary copy number alterations. This suggests that prognostic factors in adult ALL patients may differ from those in pediatric ALL patients.
